Boats are rinsed after each trip with a hose attached to a spray gun. This prevents water wastage and also reduces the use of chemicals required for cleaning. When cleaning is required those used are biodegradable.

Dinner Cruise dishes are reusable and are washed on land, reducing the volume of grey water produced.

All disposable dishes used are biodegradable.

All glass and plastic is collected and recycled.

Rubbish bin liners are biodegradable.

Cleaners used are eco-friendly and biodegradable.

Passengers are encouraged to use bathroom facilities on land before embarking on their cruise.

Boarding passes are reusable.

Passengers staying in the city are encouraged to walk to the departure point

Where possible locally produced goods are purchased

We don’t require vouchers upon check in and encourage and support those wholesalers and agents who have instigated this policy

Boat batteries are re conditioned until they are no longer viable, then recycled back with the manufacturer.

We use Reusable plates, glasses, knives and forks are used where possible

Household batteries collected and are safely disposed of via http://www.hazmobile.govt.nz/.

Hand sanitizer is provided in all bathrooms to reduce water consumption and production grey water

Black water is pumped out

Used sailing rope is re cased, to extend to life of each length.
