We will conserve energy and improve the energy efficiency of our operations making an effort to use environmentally safe and sustainable energy sources.
Risk Reduction
Risks to the environment will be minimised through safe technologies and operating procedures, and by being prepared for emergencies.
Environmental Restoration
Where feasible, physical projects and scientific research both aquatic and terrestrial will be undertaken that aim to restore the environment in which we operate.
Passenger Advocacy
An integral part of our product delivery is environmental passenger advocacy. Education through experience enforces the importance of conservation in the environment we operate and live in.
Management Commitment
Management, with the 'buy in' of staff, implements these principles and sustains a process that ensures management is proactive and fully responsible for environmental policy. Currently an annual self-evaluation of our progress in implementing these principles is undertaken and it is envisaged an external audit will be introduced in the near future. In selecting our management team, we consider demonstrated environmental commitment as a factor.
